Labour pains...

17Apr'09...I planned to launch my website on this date. Almost all was ready...just few final touch-ups. Early morning I woke up and jumped towards my laptop to make my launch. N guess wat?? My Internet was not working!!! As no queries are entertained before the office hours...i had no excuse to escape from helping mom prepare breakfast (Mom plz don't read this!!!). When office hours started I called and called to make things work... after so much pleading some body did turned up, but all in vain. Fault cud not be found...Goshh!!! after a day full of pain n misery, my net started working at 8 pm. Yuppiieeeeee!!!!

It worked well for almost an hour and again went out. :( Can't bear more of it!!!

Thanks to my bro, He changed some settings and net was up again. ohhh wat a relief.

I quickly made the changes...well yaa quickly...It took me another 2 hours. It was 11.15 pm.

 I had to fulfill the promise that i made to myself (and by then to many of friends also) so cud not think of postponing the same for a day more..

Finally, I did formally announced it...and got a gr8 response. :) My kid is born... I m soo happy :')

While all that (what i mentioned in previous posts) was crossing my mind...I just sat in front of TV and starting switching channels. From Saas-Bahu to news, I was searching for something that can soothen my senses.

On one channel, that famous song of JAL...Na jane kab se umeedein kayi baaki hai..ab to aadat si hai...As I mentioned earlier also,young bands have a far reaching impact on me. Suddenly the idea of making a website on Hobby crossed my mind...

Eureka!!!This could be the perfect platform for people interacting 'n' making each other pursue their interests with much more passion...all information in a crisp manner (to avoid any head banging with the information flood on net)...find interesting  things happening...or just a place to chill out....cooooooooool

Without wasting a second, i called my bro and asked about the idea...his appreciation boosted my morale...But college presentations and projects posed as a major road block...still i stole moments to conceptualize and work on it. After rigors of months...i was finally able to give it the final touch.

Weirdoo World!!!

I am a person ( m sure many of you also) has a strange drawing towards weird things. One day, I had nothing to do...so I started searching 4 the same on the internet. I got such amazing results...

Some body on earth can even imagine to collect what is termed as "TEAR BOTTLES". At one point in time, they were perfume bottles, very tiny ones. These were, obviously out of perfume, but still smelling good. She used them for her memories. She then seals it up, and storing it away, in preservation of whatever memory she was dedicating it to.

This forced me to think how Weird or creative can a person be...

Hiding Things!!!

One day, me and my brother went out for a stroll in garden. We saw a beetle there. My brother was so tempted to take it along. I scolded him badly. Then I got busy chatting with my friends. After two days, i discovered him plucking some leaves from the plants in the balcony. I asked him "why for?". He answered "just like that". Soon after i figured out that he has kept that beetle inside a bottle. 

There are a number of things like that which we admire during our childhood times. And sadly, most of them are disapproved by our parents... But these things form a special part of our life and memories...

Rock Onn !!!

Rock On !! what a movie it was. Hats off!!! 

But it was more than a movie for me...I have seen many bands (other work groups) getting disintegrated...Rock on!! is a movie so the ending is bound to be happy. But it doesnt work that ways in real life. For some it's a matter of bread 'n' butter, for others its a matter of EGO, for still others its a matter of pride.

In college days, every member in the group happen to share the same vision and enthu to make a mark. It seems to them that sky is the limit. That feeling of being on the top of the world while holding those drum sticks vanishes the moment you r out of college. We again succumb to typical mentality of searching a job. This happens to some of the members and the end result is that the group breaks up.

That is something really sad to happen. But what can be done about it...mmmmmmmm

 

Rediscover Yourself !!!

Sometimes, I wonder what life is all about. We burn ourselves in pursuit of some goal. In the process, small small things which a person enjoys, takes a backseat. One day, one of my friends asked me a question "when was the last time you did something for your own happiness?". It took me quite some time to answer that.

Most of us (rather many of us) convince ourselves that "yaa, I don't have time", "ohh, will take out time for myself later onn" and so-on. I have seen still others who are quite conscious about this fact. They take out time to take a walk, steal a game of TT, catch up with friends etc.

One thing I have pretty well noticed is that people find somebody sharing same interest to be with. If the search for such a person ends, the person has all the motivation in this world to pursue their hobbies.

I kept on wondering if something could be done about it or not...
